Installed a small utility program called Wizmo in the C://Windows root directory. Created a desktop start-up link to Wizmo. The utility advised to right click the desktop icon and enter "wizmo hibernate" or one of many other commands to create shortcuts to different commands....that was a mistake. The computer rebooted and must have went into "hibernate".
When I reboot it runs thru most commands but doesn't get to booting Windows. I tried Safe Mode (F with all of the choices and she won't reboot. I don't have a xp boot disk.....is there anything else I can do to get windows running again?
Thanks!

This baby is fixed ! Went into BIOS using F8 and selected "load system for performance or something of that nature" and rebooted. Windows loaded but went to blank screen just like it was "hibernating" but clicked the mouse and there she was. I deleted the Wizmo program...don't need this problem.
Thanks for your help! |
