Hello,
My friend recently installed Avira antivirus on my computer and as soon as it started it found awvss virus and asked me if I wanted to delete it or quarantine it. I tried both but the virus is coming back.
How can we remove that awvss virus? |

You have a virtumondo (virtumonde) trojan.
To remove that awvss file you need to download this removal tool that will also check for variants of that trojan and remove them all.
http://www.atribune.org/public-beta/VundoFix.exe
Run the program and follow the instructions.
You should also download Spybot S&D to prevent some of these problems in the future.
Good luck! |

It depends upon when you answered the question. If Best answer has been picked or the question has gone into voting, you cannot delete your answer. However, if the question is still open, look for the word delete under your answer. Click on delete. They will ask you to confirm the deletion. If you click ok, your answer will be deleted but you will not to be able to give a different answer to the same question.

1. Restart your computer. As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, tap “F8” key constantly. Use the arrow keys to highlight the “Safe Mode with Networking” option as shown in the image below, and then press ENTER.
2. Open Internet Explorer. Click on the Tools menu and then select Internet Options.

You are infected with a very bad virus. It seems that your anti-virus did not fully remove all the viruses so it resulted to an immediate spreading. I recommend to you to try another anti-virus.
