Hi,
when i turn my computer on, i hear the fan moving but after 3 seconds it shuts itself down and turns on again, it repeats by shutting itself down and afterwards the computer just runs; the fan moves but the screen doesnt show anything. The monitor light flickers but the screen is pitch black.
I've tried to check if the monitor is the problem, i unplugged the video cable and the screen showed: "Check Video Cable". I tried to change the power source by bringing my computer elsewhere in the house but it did not work either, so power source isnt the issue either.
Could it be fixed or do i have to replace the motherboard and/or the whole computer? |

| It sounds like the motherboard may be dead or dying. |

| it does sound as if you have fried components... Have you tried applying some thermal paste to your cpu? Maybe your BIOS settings are set to high or low depending on your CPU temperature. |
