Hi,

I have got an error " Virtual Memory Low" , but i tried to increased the virtual memory size. And also increase the physical RAM size. But still happen again. So i thought that the paging file location have bad sector or something. So i changed HDD by making Ghost for same application. But the problem still the same..

Please kindly suggest the possible way to cure it.

Thanks

not to necropost, but this issue has to do with the fact that you have LOW memory available and your swap file may be too small!

Check to see how much ram you have installed and upgrade it. It is low cost and easy to install!

I guess you are doing a lot of job on your computer, In cases that different applications and program are running on your computer you should consider upgrading your RAM so your computer won't experience latency and do not need to be reminded of having low memory.

I'd say that you probably are running out of space on your hard drive, you can check by clicking on my computer, right clicking on local disk C:, click properties then check you're used space vs. your free space. Couple things you could do, remove applications you don't use, turn off system restore which will free up space on your hard drive, get a new hard drive, you can also try increasing the size of your virtual memory, you can do this by right click on my computer, click properties, click advanced, under performance click settings, under performance options click the advanced tab, under virtual memory click change, select custom size, then type in a number equal to 2 times the amount of memory you have installed in your computer (you can find that out by right clicking my computer, click properties and it should tell you how much RAM you have on the general tab) for instance if you have 1gb of ram that is 1024MB so you would multiply this times 2. you would type 2048 beside maximum size.

Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. Unless you have very little physical memory (RAM) in your system, this message is indicative of a buggy application with a memory leak or that you are out of room on your hard drive. Go to My Computer or Windows Explorer – Right-Click on your Hard Drive (C Drive) and go to Properties. Under the General Tab you will see how much space you have used, and how much is available….if you are under 1GB in Free Space…you will run into the Virtual Memory Errors sooner or later.
The second option is a memory leak. A memory leak is a common problem caused by poorly written or poorly debugged applications where they continually use more and more memory until you shut down the program, end the process manually or restart Microsoft Windows.
