This is usually caused by the "cached write" issue that may be enabled on the drive or perhaps the file you are trying to access is being used at the same time.
First, make sure no other programs are using the files that you are trying to write to another media.
Second, check this:
Start at the desktop.
Right-click on My Computer, then left-click on Properties.
Click on the Hardware tab at the top.
Click on the Device Manager button.
Click on the + next to Disk Drives to expand it.
Right click on the hard drive on which to turn write caching off, then left click Properties.
Click on the Policies tab.
Click on Enable write caching on the disk to remove the tick. It must not be ticked.
Click OK. |

Good luck trying to solve this freaking nuisance of a problem. I have had this problem for over a year now. The solutions that are available are a pain to implement, incredibly technical in nature and require a great deal of tweaking and modifications of your operating system and hard drive configurations (i.e messing with the registry).
