My problem is a little hard for me to pose as I'm not exactly sure how to express it, but I'll do my best...what I was doing was switching my wireless card and my sound card so that the antenna from my wireless card can properly extend because I wasn't receiving a consistent signal from my router. While switching the sound card it became entangled with some wires that seem to be going from my power button to a card that I do not use externally. Well those wires were all bundled together and became disconnected from a single connector with individual prongs for them to connect with the wires that I accidentally unplugged. My 2-pronged question is: Does it matter in which order I reconnect these wires; and if so, how do I know the proper configuration?

Yes it is important how you reconnect any wires inside your pc. As per your description, these wires seem to be the connection for your power button, reset button and LEDs monitoring hard drive activity and On/Off power.

To connect them properly, please refer to your motherboard user manual which will have the proper layout described for you.

The only really essential button you need to reconnect is the power button and is usually labeled PWR, the others are optional!

Good luck.

Its bc there is nothing on that drive, the ps3 is like windows in some sense. It uses the hdd to store its OS or operating system as its called. Since you swapped it for a new it doesn't have the "os" plus you cant backup the other hdd since its not available. So here is what you do.
