Hi,
when i turn my computer on, i hear the fan moving but after 3 seconds it shuts itself down and turns on again, it repeats by shutting itself down and afterwards the computer just runs; the fan moves but the screen doesnt show anything. The monitor light flickers but the screen is pitch black.
I've tried to check if the monitor is the problem, i unplugged the video cable and the screen showed: "Check Video Cable". I tried to change the power source by bringing my computer elsewhere in the house but it did not work either, so power source isnt the issue either.
Could it be fixed or do i have to replace the motherboard and/or the whole computer?

| It might be something with your video card. If your video is on a card, make sure the card is fully seated. Are you getting any beeps? If power led on tower is steady green would mean that the problem could be with video card or the monitor. |
