For some reason I have lost my administrator rights on my laptop and desktop. The only thing I did prior to this mishap was attempting to network a printer between the two computers. Administrator password doesn't seem to be the issue since I never assigned a password for the administrator. I am unable to make any changes in the users and group accounts. I have tried the safe mode without any luck. At this point I can't access my programs nor make changes to them. I am unable to download from the internet. Every time I try to do something I get the message, "access denied" you must get the administrator's permission. I used Ophcrack to retrieve my passwords but it did not help. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

The exact same thing happened to me. i think its the same trojan. Its a trojan btw
go into your programs and delete the program thats taking up like 16,000,000 of memory. If there not a number like that then its in your root kit.
Download or buy Kaspersky. They have an antivirus that scans the root kit.
Norton and all these well known ones dont.
