The struggling economy has many families in turmoil trying to keep ahead of their increasing debt. Some are even thinking of filing a do it yourself bankruptcy. Families are cutting costs by eating hamburgers instead of steak, or eating tuna fish from a can instead of buying fresh fish. Having credit card debt is indeed stressful. For people who have lost their financial ability to pay partial of the outstanding balances are advised to consider filing personal bankruptcy. It is now harder to file for bankruptcy due to the new law changes. Individuals now have to make certain that all requirements are met before attempting to declare bankruptcy. Any error, no matter how small, can increase their chances of being fined or jailed for attempting fraud.
