I have recently noticed that my computer is making lots of noise.
I opened the computer side and think the noise is coming from my hard drive.
My hard drive is almost full, if I remove some files would it solve the problem? |

Hi Mandy,
Usually, it does not matter how much data you have on your hard drive, it should not make much noise.
If your hard drive is making more noise than usual, it probably means that it is dying (and would need to be replaced soon).
Good luck. |

It sounds like your CPU may be overheating and the fan is trying to compensate.
When you replaced the fan, did you by any chance replace the heat sink as well?
If you did, did you reapply thermal compound?
Either it is a heat issue, or you just bought a cheap CPU fan... or both.
