Windows Vista Machine. Monitor keeps going black and then coming on again. I a 99% sure it has nothing to do with connectivity. Machine is loaded with viruses, ran Malwarebytes and runniing MSSE now, then I will run ccleaner.
But I still do not think that will fix the issue. Any suggesttions? |

Try to Boot with a bootable CD that will force higher resolution (Can try Knoppix for example) and see if you still have the same problem. You can try going in the BIOS or use Windows CD, but these run at the lowest resolution so they don't actually put much stress on your graphics hardware.
This will determine whether you have a software or Hardware issue! |
