I used Wipedrive to clean my PC-I tried to reinstall XP on my computer-it installed but the resolution was way to low. I tried the settings but Windows would not let me use anything. Maybe we are talking drivers I don't know. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Sincerely,

99.9% sure that you are missing your driver for your video card.
To view the list of components with missing drivers right click on "My Computer" icon, click on "Manage", then click on "Device Manager", on the right hand side of the screen you will see a couple yellow question marks for the devices that are missing their drivers.
You best option is to go your computer manufacturer's website, search for the support portion of their website, then you will usually be able to search for the exact model of your computer, then download (and install) the necessary drivers.
Otherwise, you have to find your motherboard's model number (often written directly on the motherboard), then go to motherboard maufacturer's website and find the necessary drivers.
If you have a video card (AGP or PCIe) that is installed on one of the slots of your computer, you should still find the model number and then use the manufacturer's website to download the appropriate drive. |
